How do I know if I have osteoporosis?
Answered By Editor
You can know if you have osteoporosis by
measuring your bone density. You may be
susceptible to osteoporosis if you are over
the age of 65, at the postmenopausal stage,
have had a bone fracture in the past, or if
you are anorexic or have eating disorder. A
bone density test will measure how much
density your bone has. To do this, the doctor
will measure your bone density through x-ray.
Testing is often done at hospitals or on
other outpatient medical facilities.
