Osteoporosis Feedback: Only if you don’t find something to substitute the calcium and proteins.
If you were in the jungle, would the hungry animals spare you?
Osteoporosis Feedback: In my opinion, yes
Osteoporosis Feedback: no it is not,
it would probably be best to take a vitamin, cause most teenagers don’t eat the healthiest.
but if you ate healthy and a variety of vegetables and fruits, you wouldn’t need that vitamin at all.
just make sure you eat foods fortified with b12
hammer: that is the point we aren’t in a hungry jungle,
Osteoporosis Feedback: Just eat peanut butter sandwiches
haha im having the same problem my mum always forgets im a vegetarian it makes me sad
Osteoporosis Feedback: not at all as long as you get all the vitamins and minerals and other proteins amino acids and stuff it could possibly be healthier i became on when i was 11 or 12 and am still healthy i would try lacto ovo vegetarianism
Osteoporosis Feedback: It’s always a good idea to take a multivitamin every day. Nuts and green leafy vegetables are a good source of calcium, as are other things (you should look into it). Eat healthy foods, fruits and vegetables, whole grains, etc. and avoid junk food and you’ll be just as healthy as a meat eater.
Osteoporosis Feedback: Vitamin C, definitely. No, it’s not bad for your health. My friend Nathan is a vegan and he’s fit and healthy. Good luck!
Osteoporosis Feedback: no its not… iv been a vegetarian all my life and really it doesnt affect my health… i guess it doesnt really matter if u have vitamins…=)
Osteoporosis Feedback: Nope, it’s totally possible to have a healthy & balanced veg*n diet.
Osteoporosis Feedback: I’m a 13 year old vegan to!
Ok, well at first it can be challenging! It is just SO much better for your body overall, and the animals.
Three is a really good book called “The Vegan Source book.” I think you should buy it or check it out from the library or something! It is really good!
Ok, nutrition can be a little hard since you are still growing, thats why a multi-vitamin is good to make sure you stay healthy.
Here is a vegan food pyramid-
See, if you follow that you get all the things you need!
I know there will probably be troll answers here telling you not to, but you are making a great choice!!
Everyone is gonna make a big deal out of protein though! Its annoying! I finally yelled at someone to do some research before talking to be about my diet because what do you know, protein in nuts, legumes, beans, and more!!
Yea, yelling does not end well, no matter how pissed you get.
Going vegan really helps you, the enviornment, the animals, and feed the hungry!
Recipes, hhhmmmm… (LOTS of recipies!!)……
I hope this helps you!
Osteoporosis Feedback: No. Just do research on your own and you’ll see.
Osteoporosis Feedback: It’s very good for you if you do it right. Get yourself a vegetarian cookbook. There are a few written just for teens like:
