Osteoporosis Feedback: most gynecologists can give an STD exam
Osteoporosis Feedback: Start with your General Practitioner.
Osteoporosis Feedback: gyno
Osteoporosis Feedback: If you are a female you go to your gynocologists, if there is a specific thing they can’t handle they will send you to a specialist.
Osteoporosis Feedback: You can just go to a regular physician, that’s where I got my checkup! (My mom wanted me to check for babies if ya know what I mean and I figured I’d get the whole works since I was there…yay no babies and no yuckies!)
Osteoporosis Feedback: Any doctor from a GP to a specialist. Most people has a doctor who is an internist. GP’s are not that common anymore.
Osteoporosis Feedback: You can go to your family doctor, family planning center or OB-GYN. When it states that they specialize in something it usually means that is an area of special interest to them, but they should still be able to do the testing. Just let the receptionist know what you are looking to have done when you book the appointmnet.
Osteoporosis Feedback: Regular MD, but there are centers that have an STD clinic, like at the Department of Health.
STD test are done in different ways, some can be found in urine test others thru blood and lastly in a pap test.
You best bet is if you feel like you want to get a test go or call and check out what your options are in your town.
Much luck!
Osteoporosis Feedback: definitely any OB-gyne MD can do this. also, i think a primary care provided can do this as well… please correct me if i am wrong…
